Dear Raleigh Ray Parents,

 As we approach the final meet of the season, the DT Typhoon Swim Meet, I am reaching out to urgently request your support in ensuring its successful execution. We are in great need of parent volunteers to fulfill essential positions during the event.

Currently, we have critical vacancies in the following positions:

• Six Timers: These individuals will be responsible for accurately timing each race and recording the swimmers' times.
• Two Clerks of Course: These volunteers will assist in organizing and managing the swimmers before and during their respective races.
• One Order of Finishing Judge : This position entails determining the official order in which swimmers finish each race.
• Two Runners: These individuals will assist in delivering time sheets, order of finishing results and DQ slips to the Meet Manager.

Without volunteers to fill these key roles, I am faced with the difficult decision of potentially canceling the meet. As the last meet of the season, it holds special significance for our swimmers, and it would be disappointing to see it canceled due to a lack of support.

I understand that everyone has busy schedules, but I implore you to consider volunteering for one of these positions. Your involvement will not only ensure the smooth operation of the meet but also create a memorable experience for our swimmers as they showcase their hard work and achievements.
