Good morning and Happy Monday!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! I am still in need of a Clerk of Course, and ideally one more timer for tomorrow night so please sign up if you can assist. We are going to have some very high temperatures and heat index this week, please make plans to start hydrating in advance today! Here is some information from Oak Park regarding their pool and location, I will post this on the website later today:

Directions and Parking Our street address is 4425 Oak Park Road, Raleigh. We have two parking lots. One is on the road before you can see the pool itself, and one is down the gravel driveway past the pool. The driveway is one-way, so if there is no parking available in the second lot, you will end up back on Oak Park Road and will need to take a right to head back toward the entrance to the pool. Parking is limited so any effort your families can make to carpool would be greatly appreciated. Many cars end up parking on Oak Park Road on meet nights. Parking is also available on Connell Drive where it intersects with Fernham. There is a short walking path that connects the pool to Connell. 

Concessions We have a team-run concession stand during home meets with proceeds benefiting the swim team. This Tuesday, we will be serving Nachos, Hot Dogs, Slice of Marco’s Pizza by the slice, along with a selection of snacks, sweets, and drinks. Cash and cards are accepted. There is a $5 minimum to use a credit card.

Warm-Ups As the visiting team, you will warm-up at 5:30.

Additionally, regarding the heat for tomorrow, most of their deck is shaded by 6:00 pm and they will have a covered area with fans. They will have a water fountain for refills and will be selling drinks at the concession stand as well. If anyone has any canopies they can bring, that would be awesome!
