ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good evening everyone!

A few important announcements tonight:

1) Tomorrow's meet at Manchester is located at 10740 Trappers Creek Dr. and the parking lot should be reserved for us as the visiting team once we get there. We will warm up from 5:30-6:00 pm, if you have any chairs or tents, PLEASE bring them. Volunteers/officials meeting will begin by 5:45 pm so if you are volunteering, please make sure you arrive by then! I've moved some of the volunteer positions around since we don't need ribbon writers/distributors or a scorer for tomorrow, but we still need one more timer and an order of finish judge.

2) Our end of season banquet will be next Thursday, July 17th during our normal practice time. More details to come over the next week I just wanted to make everyone aware so y'all can start marking your calendars.

3) TSA CHAMPS

I've gotten a lot of questions/interest in attending or trying to figure out just what exactly TSA Champs is. This meet will provide the swimmers with an opportunity to swim in a year-round level environment at Triangle Aquatic Center so they can bridge the gap between summer swimming, which tends to be more about fun and inclusion as much as competition, and year-round swimming which is a higher level of commitment and more focus on individual improvement in the sport. I am attaching the meet document to this message, this document contains entry fees per event, deadlines for registration, and what time(s) each session is and the anticipated order of events! Please email me at [email protected] if you have any questions. The only requirements to be able to attend is paying the fees per event registered, and 6 & under's must be able to swim 25 meters without assistance. Otherwise, everyone is welcome, and there is no pressure from myself or Coach Jo to attend. Also, all athletes must have a completed waiver to be able to attend, the waiver can be found on the general TSA website, or at this link: https://forms.gle/CTX52VdsFkNcwkJm7 (liability waiver deadline 7/16)

Have a great night and GO RAYS!

Coach Sean
