Hello Raleigh Rays,

I'm excited to announce we continued the season with another win against Manchester with a final score of 291-221! That moves us to 3-0 so far on the season and puts us in sole possession of first place in our division. Division winners receive a special trophy as a team at TSA Champs.

We had 77 total improvements, at a rate of 36% as a team, and had FIVE team records set last night! Team Records are now posted in the shadowbox display next to the lap pool; I will update for this week by Friday PM practice.

Looking ahead...

1. We will continue with Ray of the Week awards this Friday; I will set aside a few minutes in each age group's practice group to recognize the kids in front of their teammates. I will have the LT Swim background and some cutouts that the kids can pose in front of for pictures with one of the coaches.
2. Next meet... 6/30 HOME vs. Southall. Entries will close at 11:59pm Sunday night. If you do not register as attending, I cannot guarantee your child will be able to swim on meet night. Please remember the options for no relays, no early relays, and no late relays depending on your schedule.
3. We are rescheduling our TEAM PICTURE for prior to the meet next Tuesday. As the home team we will begin warmups at 5pm with the 8 & under's swimming first, we will be taking the team picture at 4:45pm.
4. Entries will be limited again next week, if y'all have specific strokes that you'd like for your kids to swim you are welcome to include that in the registration notes and I will do my best to accommodate all requests. We would like to run the parents vs. coaches relay next Tuesday night, it will most likely occur between breaststroke and butterfly.
5. Southall is a division up from us and having a good season so expect a healthy competition next Tuesday!
